Erin N. Pentz, AWMA®
At an early age Erin understood the powerful impact SBC has on the lives of clients. As Scott Holley’s daughter, Erin began contributing to the firm while still a student. She witnessed first-hand, the importance of proactive advocacy in family wealth management. Her passion for advocacy coupled with her interests in business and economics set the stage for Erin’s career path. After graduation from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, with a degree in Finance and Economics, Erin became a Registered Investment Advisor representative with SBC in 2006. She completed the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®) designation in 2018 through the College For Financial Planning.
Erin works with affluent families and individuals as their financial advocate. As a steward of all aspects of wealth planning, Erin builds personalized financial strategies to fulfill her client’s goals and to guide them through life’s many changes. Erin thoroughly enjoys seeing the powerful impact she has on the lives of her clients through collaboration to help them build on their success.
In addition to working with clients, Erin is also a Partner of SBC, serves as the Chief Compliance Officer, the Director of the Investment Committee, and a member of the Executive Council.
Erin has been named Five Star Wealth Manager in Indianapolis every year since 2011, has been a Barron’s Top Women Advisor’s Summit attendee since 2013, a Barron’s Top Advisor Summit attendee since 2018 and was named one of the Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors by Forbes in 2017 and 2018.
In addition to her role at SBC, Erin is heavily involved in the community, fundraising for cancer patient resources in Indiana. She is a member of the Indianapolis American Cancer Society Guild and serves on the Board. She has had many different roles as a Guild member, from serving on the Discovery Ball Committee to President of the Guild. Erin is committed building local cancer resources for patients and their families in our community.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Rich, working out, playing tennis and spending time with her two dogs, Brooklyn and Bodhi.
